These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] ("AI Lessons", "we") for the AI Lessons app and website. By creating an account you accept them.

Accounts

You must be 18 or over to hold an account. A parent or legal guardian may add their children as learners and is responsible for their use of AI Lessons. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Teachers and school staff use their own adult accounts. Classes a teacher runs for a school belong to that school; classes a teacher runs privately stay with the teacher.

Lessons and content

Lessons, narration, animations, practice questions and other content are owned by or licensed to AI Lessons. You may use them for the personal, non-commercial study of the learners on your account.

You may not copy, record, screenshot, download outside the app, share, resell or publicly show them. You may not try to get around the app's protections.

Lessons follow the official textbooks and syllabus documents named in each chapter. Textbook names and references belong to their owners.

AI features

The AI tutor and answer marking use artificial intelligence. They can make mistakes. Use them to support learning, not as a replacement for teachers, the textbook or official marking schemes. Do not enter personal information in questions or answers.

Plans and payments

• How plans are sold: paid plans are offered through Google Play, the App Store or our website. A plan unlocks the content it describes for every learner on the account.
• Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Cancelling: cancel in your Google Play or App Store subscriptions, or on the website for website purchases. Access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: for store purchases, refunds follow the store's policy; for website purchases, [refund policy].
• Price changes: prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects a renewal.

Schools

• School agreements: a school's use of AI Lessons, its licence and its prices are covered by a separate agreement with the school. [School terms to be drafted with counsel.]
• Linking a child: a child is linked to a school only when a parent accepts the school's invite. The parent can unlink the child at any time from the Family app.
• School places and family plans: when a school place covers everything a family plan includes, the parent can choose to stop renewing the family plan. Paid days left over are kept as credit that switches on automatically when the school place ends, and expires [24 months] after it is created. Nothing changes unless the parent agrees. Refunds are given only where the law or the store's rules require them.

Rewards and referrals

• Rewards are for learning (for example chapters completed or mastery), not for time spent in the app. Rewards for learners under 18 go to the parent's account.
• Partner coupons are redeemed on the partner's own site under the partner's terms. Rewards have no cash value unless they say so, and may expire.
• Referral rewards are given only after a referred family's refund window has passed, or once a referred school's first invoice is paid.
• We may withdraw a reward obtained by misuse, for example through duplicate accounts. [Counsel to review reward and referral terms.]

Acceptable use

Do not misuse AI Lessons. This includes trying to access other accounts or our systems, overloading the service, scraping content, or using it to harass anyone. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account) or as described on our account deletion page. Deleting an account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel that in Google Play or the App Store.

Liability

We work hard to make lessons accurate and the service reliable, but AI Lessons is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for results in any examination. [Liability cap and consumer-law carve-outs to be confirmed by counsel.]

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city] have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have where you live.
